My gut feeling is that we should try and keep the system up and running. Makala (KWMC) is now doing some research on the user network to see how much use it is actually getting. If it turns out that we have lost our users, then the KWW group will need to decide whether to continue maintaining the Park network or not. Clearly, whatever happens, it will have to be managed differently in future. This will be on the agenda at our next meeting at the end of March. But, in the meantime, I think it's going to be a case of 'do the best you can'. I had a chat with Sam yesterday about all of this after the ABC meeting and it is clear to me that it will be a while before we have an alternative to the Park wireless network. I think if we can solve the AP1 problem and get Kevin connected, things will improve quite quickly.
