Note - the 'distro' isn't tailored for running on laptops (yet), that
is another layer of work to be done.

Most live distros I have tried default to a English_US keyboard during
live session - it is a balance of a quick and easy boot without having
to answer a bunch of questions vs getting a usable basic config for a
temp session. Usually these issues are addressed at install time -
well sometimes this works, well actually I think on my recent
installfest, only Mandriva and OpenSUSE get this bit right...but
anyway.
