The website will serve as an area for providing news and reports on the progress of the project. We also value your input. You are welcome to sign on as a subscriber and participate in the forums that will be discussing the work of the project and the wiki where the various aspects of the project will be developed. The main areas of work for the project are: * Building FOSS service supply to the VCS * Developing FOSS training for the sector * Developing certified standards for VCS FOSS professionals _________________________________________________________________ You received this message as a subscriber on the list: ukriders@lists.lasa.org.uk To be removed from the list, send any message to: ukriders-unsubscribe@lists.lasa.org.uk For all list information, etiquette and functions, including changing your subscription mode and options, visit the Web page: http://lists.lasa.org.uk/lists/info/ukriders --------------------------------------------------------- This list is hosted at NPOGroups.org, a service of Electric Embers: Internet hosting services for the community http://electricembers.net _______________________________________________ Bw-daily mailing list Bw-daily@lists.psand.net http://lists.psand.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bw-daily From a.anselmi at oltrelinux.com Sat Nov 10 04:00:21 2007 From: a.anselmi at oltrelinux.com (a.anselmi@oltrelinux.com) Date: Wed Aug 27 22:18:11 2008 Subject: BW )(: mesh software Message-ID: <53480.85.41.146.90.1194696021.squirrel@krisma.oltrelinux.com> Hi all the list! I'm Antonio from Italy, just registered in the board. I was wondering if you are interested in experimenting with ROBIN mesh. ROBIN (ROuting Batman Inside) is an Open Source project deployed on top of OpenWRT kamikaze and running on any Atheros AP51 routers such as Meraki Mini or La Fonera and using BATMAN routing algorithm. ROBIN is a real 0-config appliance: all you need is almost one xDSL upstream DHCP capable router offering Internet connectivity where you connect a node (acting as gateway node) while the others nodes have only to be powered on. Every repeater node raise up an own (open) AP which clients will connect with and so browse Internet. Firmware (kernel vmlinux.gz and rootfs jffs2-64k) is pretty flashable into routers using the tool ap51-flash-gui.exe. HowTo and other info at http://www.blogin.it You can download ROBIN at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ponte2/ Hope I haven't bored you -- Antonio _______________________________________________ Bristolwireless mailing list Bristolwireless@lists.psand.net http://lists.psand.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bristolwireless From matthew at m6-it.org Tue Nov 20 13:39:12 2007 From: matthew at m6-it.org (Matthew Edmondson) Date: Wed Aug 27 22:18:11 2008 Subject: BW )(: FW: Fwd: Wanted!
